For over a decade, we've helped hundreds of New Mexicans reclaim their nights — and their health — with diagnostic-grade sleep testing delivered to your own bedroom.
From simple screening to full polysomnography, we provide the full spectrum of sleep testing — right in the comfort of your home.
A simplified, prescription-based sleep study for patients with a high likelihood of moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea. Conducted in your own bed, with results interpreted by a board-certified sleep specialist.
Our most comprehensive sleep study — an overnight test that records brain waves, oxygen levels, heart rate, breathing, and limb movements. Ideal for complex cases, non-apnea sleep disorders, and diagnostic clarity.
Also known as the "nap test," this study measures how quickly you fall asleep during the day and whether you enter REM sleep — the gold standard for diagnosing narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
After a positive sleep apnea diagnosis, this overnight test determines the exact CPAP pressure needed to keep your airway open — eliminating the guesswork and ensuring comfortable, effective therapy from night one.
Ongoing CPAP compliance monitoring, therapy adjustments, and routine follow-up sleep studies to ensure your treatment plan continues to work as your body changes over time.
Not sure if you need a sleep study? Our team provides thorough consultations to help you understand your symptoms, what testing is appropriate, and what to expect — no judgment, no rush.
Home Sleep Spectrums was founded on a simple conviction: the best sleep study is the one you can take in your own bed, with your own pillow, wearing your own pajamas — and still get results that a board-certified sleep physician will stand behind.
Based here in Las Cruces, we've spent over a decade serving the Sun City and surrounding communities with diagnostic-grade sleep testing that meets the highest clinical standards. We work alongside referring physicians, pulmonologists, and ENT specialists to ensure every patient receives a clear, actionable diagnosis — and a treatment plan that actually fits their life.
Whether you've been told you snore too loudly, wake up exhausted despite a full night's rest, or your partner has noticed you stop breathing during the night — we're here to help you find answers.
We've streamlined the sleep testing process so you can focus on what matters — getting your health back on track.
Your physician refers you for a sleep study, or you contact us directly to discuss your symptoms and determine if testing is appropriate.
We coordinate with your insurance, confirm your appointment, and send you a preparation guide so you know exactly what to expect.
We deliver the equipment to your door, walk you through setup, and you sleep in your own bed. No hospital gown required.
Your study is scored by a sleep physician, and results are sent to your doctor within 48 hours — along with a clear explanation you can understand.
Real feedback from real New Mexicans who took the first step toward better sleep.
"I was dreading a sleep study — the idea of sleeping in some clinical room terrified me. Home Sleep Spectrums made it so easy. They came to my house, set everything up, and I slept like I normally would. The results came back fast and my doctor had a treatment plan ready the next week."
"After years of feeling exhausted no matter how early I went to bed, I finally got my sleep study done. The team was incredibly patient with all my questions and made the whole experience feel normal. I now use CPAP every night and I actually look forward to going to sleep again."
"As a referring physician, I appreciate how professional and thorough Home Sleep Spectrums is. Their reports are detailed, turnaround is fast, and my patients consistently tell me it was a much more comfortable experience than they expected. I recommend them to everyone."
Everything you need to know before your first sleep study.
For most insurance plans, yes — a referral or prescription from your physician is required. However, we can accept self-referrals in some cases. Call us at (575) 652-3953 and we'll walk you through the process.
For patients with a high pre-test probability of moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) is considered clinically equivalent by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. For complex cases, we recommend a full in-lab or at-home polysomnography for the most comprehensive data.
We'll deliver the equipment and walk you through setup in the evening. You'll wear a small sensor on your finger, a nasal cannula, and a belt around your chest — nothing invasive. You sleep as you normally would, and we pick up the equipment the next morning. Most patients report it's far less uncomfortable than they expected.
Typically within 48 hours of returning your equipment, your study will be scored and interpreted by a board-certified sleep physician. Results are sent directly to your referring doctor, and we'll follow up with you to explain what they mean and what the next steps should be.
Most major insurance plans — including Medicare — cover medically necessary sleep studies. We accept a wide range of insurers and will verify your benefits before your appointment so there are no surprises. We're happy to work with you on any out-of-pocket costs.
Since home sleep testing is conducted in your own bedroom, you're already home! For in-lab studies, you may drive yourself unless you've been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and told not to operate machinery — in which case we'll discuss arrangements with you ahead of time.
Whether you have questions, need a referral, or are ready to schedule your study — we're here. Reach out by phone, email, or stop by our office in Las Cruces.
